Your GCSE Examination .
Unit 2 is 2 hours long, and is 40% of your GCSE, the syllabus for which can be found at the above link.
The Theme for the exam will be released to students in February, we will study this in class, all of section one (the Designing Question ) will be based on this theme.
You will be given,
A revision guide, a set of revision cards, and past papers in the lessons.

The following sites will provide you with a lot of knowledge, but remember, you are marked on your ability to produce construction drawings, as well as sketch render and design problem solve, none of this can be done on the computer!
Technical Understanding
Please focus on the ‘Longer Answer written’ ’ ‘PEE’ style questions, worth 8 points.
In these types of questions you are expected to produce extended writing, for example –
‘Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of producing design proposals using a computer system’
‘Explain how symbols found on products and packaging encourage consumers to be environmentally friendly’
‘What are the advantages of using CAD and CAM when producing Graphics Products, use examples in your answer’
Your spelling and grammar is assessed along with your use of technical terminology
